There are some big games tonight on the NCAA college basketball slate, but many people may not know how important they are. And then there are a whole host of other really good matchups that everyone knows about but aren't as crucial because the teams already pretty much have their NCAA Tournament bids sealed up.
Vanderbilt, right on the edge of the bubble according to our StatLogic tourney projections, can make a huge case for itself tonight with a strong performance at home against top-ranked Auburn. Meanwhile, BYU and West Virginia are battling for Big 12 Tournament seeding and one of the final NCAA spots. WVU hosts the Cougars this evening. Kansas State has been one of the top teams in the nation over the last three weeks and can make another statement tonight against Arizona in Manhattan in another Big 12 showdown.
Penn State and USC both are free falling out of the picture, but one of them might be able to cling to some hope with a win over the other tonight. Fading Texas and Georgia teams can right their ships this evening against Alabama and Texas A&M, respectively, while Pitt and SMU match up in a Texas-sized ACC grudge match that has both conference and national implications. Both teams are on the edge of the bubble and likely on the outside looking in right now.
When you read through today's information, keep in mind that we are extremely selective with our recommended picks as they need to have at least a 60-percent win probability or better according to our proprietary algorithm and also must pass through that stringent set of parameters that we consider for each matchup. Parlay City
While we usually don't recommend parlays - mainly because it decreases the win probability while increasing the potential payout - for those who aren't interested in laying the juice, combining two of our money line recommended picks or pairing one of our recommended picks with other picks we think have betting edges often can be very strong plays as well. They just may not be strong enough to meet the criteria for us to recommend them, though, and are "bet at your own risk" like the other games we post that have betting edges.
