It's been a busy week, so not a ton of time for a huge write-up or extensive breakdown here, but as always we wanted to try to help with DFS and full-season lineups.
This is a strange week. There are not a ton of great slam-dunk matchups on the FanDuel main slate, so that means we probably have to figure out how many Tier 1 stars we can fit into cash lineups while really digging for the under-the-radar players with upside who might have that one super-productive week that makes us some money in larger tournaments.
This means that players such as Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, Jonathan Taylor, Alvin Kamara, Justin Jefferson, AJ Brown and Travis Kelce may be in play for many of us in a lot of lineups. The other players to surround them with may be more challenging than usual to find, but in cash games and for season-long teams we want to find the higher-volume, higher-floor players. For tournaments, we are looking for the combination of upside, matchups and volume and looking for the lowest-priced bargains with the most likelihood of giving us a minimum of 8-10 points with a shot to go off for 18-20.
As always, our recommendations are based on the FanDuel main slate, which includes Sunday Night Football, and should be applicable to those of you looking to make difficult roster decisions for your full-season teams.
For those wondering, we are NOT on the Bo Nix train this week. The Ravens D has been a bit suspect against the pass, but it would be a shock if Nix came into that environment against an angry team and defense that is sure to go out of its way to confuse him and pull off a strong fantasy performance. The Broncos have very much over-performed this year.
